Other Questions
How long does it take to see a difference?
Counselling is a process. Some clients feel relief after a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. Everyone’s journey is unique.
Do you offer sessions for my child?
I work with adults aged 18+; I do not provide therapy directly to children. However, I can support parents in understanding and helping their child’s emotional and behavioural needs. I am also able to signpost to other counsellors and services who specialise in working with children.
Can I bring my child to a session? I understand that arranging childcare can be difficult, particularly for pre-school aged children. I offer online sessions, which can be suitable for those with younger children. If childcare is a barrier to accessing sessions, please contact me and we can chat through options.
Do you offer couples counselling? I offer 1:1 sessions; I do not provide couples counselling. However, I can offer individual support if relationship difficulties are an issue. If needed, I am able to provide details of other counsellors offering relationship support.
